Gayle King Shortt, 61 of Dublin, VA passed away on March 3, 2023 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center with her friends and family by her side.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, David Shortt; daughter, Lori Saul; son-in-law, John Saul; grandson, JD Saul; mother Phyllis King; and sisters, Teresa King and Joann Peck.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph King; brother-in-law, James Peck; and nephew, Joshua Rosenbaum.

Gayle was a nurse for 28 years and served her community to the fullest of her ability.  She will be greatly missed.
