Georgia Catherine Vaught Shelton, 97 of Roanoke,VA. passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Richfield Retirement Center. Georgia was born on June 23, 1922 to the late Leonard and Cynthia Elizabeth Cook Vaught. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Shelton and her brother, Donald Vaught.

Georgia was a kind and giving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her siblings, Bobby L. Vaught, Howard B. Vaught, Sylvia J.Pace and Jewell V. Epling. Mrs. Shelton is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. At the Vaught Cemetery in Newport, Va. with Pastor Eddie Kendall Officiating. A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is serving the Shelton family.
