Gerald L. Stevers, 83, of Pembroke, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home. Mr. Stevers was born in Giles County on November 30, 1937 to the late John Dexter and Pricey Link Stevers. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Henry "Wiley Stevers, Bill Stevers, Beuland "Blue Jay" Stevers, Donald Stevers, Russell Stevers, Lois Eppling and Kathleen Whittaker.

Mr. Stevers attended the Pembroke Assembly of God and was loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many.

Mr. Stevers is survived by his wife, Janie Huff Stevers of the home, his children, Ronald Leon Stevers and wife, Laura of FL. and Mark Dwayne Stevers and wife, Terrie of Pembroke. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel, Carrie, Sarah, Amnity, Michael, Sabrina and Taylor, 17 great-grandchildren and brothers, Lloyd Stevers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and John Stevers of FL., several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pembroke Assembly of God in Pembroke with Pastors Frankie Graham, Gary Poff and Eddie Kendall officiating. A burial will follow in the Fillinger Cemetery in Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the Pembroke Assembly of God in Pembroke on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5 – 7 P.M.
