Gilbert William "Lou" King, Jr., 42, of Pearisburg, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 after a long illness. Born in Radford, Virginia he was a son of the late Lottie Pearman Jones and Gilbert W. King, Sr. of Radford.

He is survived by his father G. W. King, Sr; his brother Earnest Lee King of Florida; his sisters Catherine Crouse of Radford, Linda Brown of Ripplemead, and Vanessa Alley of North Carolina.

In following his request funeral services will be private following cremation.
