Giles Monroe Burton, 64 of Eggleston departed this life at Carilion Giles Community Hospital.

Born in Pearisburg on February 4, 1946 he was a son of the late Virginia Burton. He had been employed on construction as a truck driver and enjoyed woodworking.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother and sister-in-law Darcy and Altheia Tate Burton of Mechanicsville; his nephew Christopher Burton; his neice Julie Burton Moore and his three great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St, Pembroke with burial following in the Walker Cemetery at Eggleston.
