Giles Hamet Reynolds, 94, of Pearisburg died Monday afternoon June 20, 2005 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek. Born in Waiteville, WV on February 3, 1911 he was a son of the late James and Texie Sarver Reynolds. He was retired from Celanese Celco Plant and loved his hobby of trading dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Johnston Reynolds and the love of his life for the last forty-one years Lillie Jennelle, a son Giles Jr. "Jackie" Reynolds, five brothers Dewey, Howard, Harold, Brice, and James Reynolds and two sisters Reba Martin and Geneva Kirk.

He leaves to cherish his memory four sons Bobby Reynolds and wife Betty Jo, Roger Reynolds and wife Sharon Faye, Ronnie Jennelle and wife Amanda, Thomas Jennelle and wife Annie all of Pearisburg; three daughters Claudine and husband Jerry Popp of Dublin, Reba and husband Tim Ratcliffe of Pearisburg, Dreama Jennelle and fiancé Damon McBride of Rich Creek; four step-children Connie Turner and husband Robert of Rich Creek, Elizabeth Bailey and husband Ted of Galax, Josie Bice and husband Kevin of Galax, Henry Jennelle and wife of Christiansburg; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 11:00 AM at Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at New Zion Church Cemetery at Waiteville, WV. Pastor Billy Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. and at other times at the homes of Reba Ratcliffe on Horsley Drive or Roger Reynolds on Curve Road in Pearisburg.
