Gladys Virginia Hilton, 61, of Pembroke departed this life Monday morning October 29, 2007 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Born in Pembroke on April 14, 1946 she was a daughter of the late Cammie Togo Young and Violet Marie Niece Young. She was preceded in death by her husband David Hilton, her parents, a sisters Corena Griggs, Margaret Ann Snider, and Lois Young and a brother Jay Young.

She is survived by two brothers Johnny Young and "Buck" Robert and wife Dorothy Young all of Pembroke; a sister-in-law Rita Dowdy Young of Pembroke and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in the Fillinger Cemetery at Pembroke.
