HELEN MAXINE WHITTAKER, 61, of Cascade Drive in Pembroke, departed this life Monday evening, May 16, 2016 at her home. Born in Giles County on December 21, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mary Lang Snider. She had been employed for many years at various restaurants in the area.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Truman Brown Whittaker; her son Stevie Whittaker of Alabama; her sisters Ann Thompson,and Mausey Rose of Christiansburg and Rose Lang of Dublin
