Homer Eugene Tinnell, 72, of Ripplemead (Goldbond), departed this life Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his home. Born in Augusta County, Virginia on July 10, 1943, he was a son of the late Paige Everett and Frances Elnora Baber Tinnell. He was a dry wall construction contractor and finisher.

He is survived by his daughter Frances Ann Tinnell; his step-daughters Kimberly Parker Sexton and Allison Parker Payne; his brother David Lee Tinnell; his sisters Peggy Sadler, Virginia Lucille Gordon, Juanita Poulston, Doris Wade, Linda Maxine Martin; his half-sister Dolly Ann Tinnell, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Friendship Retirement Community Chapel, 327 Hershberger Road, Roanoke with Evangelist Ralph Parker and The Reverend Andrew Draughn officiating. Condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
