Howard Barnheart Shue, 64, of Pembroke, departed this life at his home, Monday morning, November 5, 2018. Born in Marfrance, Greenbrier Co., WV on May 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Allie Ashby Shue and Arthena Louise Gibson Shue. He had been employed as a carpenter in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Louise Wolfe and his brother Emmitt Rucker.

He is survived by his brothers: Allie Shue of Pembroke with whom he made his home, Albert Shue (Angie) of Pembroke, and Charles Shue of Pearisburg; his sister Beulah Winter of Hiwassie; his brother-in-law Mike Wolfe; his sister-in-law Lena Rucker; his neices and nephews Melissa Winter, Christine Winter, Ronald Wolfe, David Wolfe, Malcalm Wolfe, Delores Williams, Pam Rucker, David Rucker; and several great-neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 noon in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St, Pembroke with Pastor Merrell Hedrick and Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Star Cemetery at Jordan Mines in Alleghany Co. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm.
