Inez Outland Marshall, 93, of Narrows passed from this life to her Heavenly Home on Saturday morning, July 31, 2010 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, having lived a wonderful Christian life in the mountains of Virginia that she so dearly loved. Born in Conway, NC on February 22, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Elwood and Bessie Mae Parker Outland. She was a devout member of Bethel Chapel at Clendennin for over sixty-five years and a wonderful prayer warrior. Inez was a beloved Sunday School teacher for over fifty years, touching many lives. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband for over fifty years, Robey T. Marshall, a daughter Karen Johnson, a son-in-law David Randall Ramos, her brothers Newlin, Carlton, Horace, and Cohen Outland; her sisters Ora Harrell, Annie Babb, Euzelia Johnson, Virgie Blowe, Maggie Outland.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Sandra Ramos Mullins and Dewayne Mulllins of Narrows; her son-in-law Charles William Johnson of Pearisburg; her five grandchildren Jennifer Jenene Johnson of Pearisburg, Roderick (Debra) Ramos of Roanoke, Crystal (Wesley) Ramos-McCall of Pembroke, Melissa Ramos of Pembroke, and Ariel Ramos of Narrows; her seven great-grandchildren Ethan Ramos, Preston McCall, Brent McCall, Briana Inez Ramos, Micah Ramos, Brenna Ramos, and Maddox Ramos and a host of loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM in Bethel Chapel in Clendennin with Pastor Eddie Kendall and Pastor John Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
