Iris Elizabeth Riddle, 85, of Narrows, departed this life for her heavenly home, Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Friendship Manor Health Care in Roanoke. Born in Giles County on October 16, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Albert Sidney and Elsie Marie Morris Johnston. She was a member and devoted worker at Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luther Rufus Riddle, her daughter Betty R. Hamblin, her grandson James "JR" Anderson, her brothers James L. Johnston, and Monk Johnston.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Lois R. Deisher and her husband George of Roanoke, Reda R. Collins and her husband James of Roanoke; her nine grandchildren, her sixteen great-grandchildren; her three great, great grandchildren; her one great, great, great-granchild; her sisters Lucille J. Weikel of Salem, and Mae J. Mann of Peterstown, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.
