James Glenwood McGuire "Bubbie", 45 of Pearisburg departed this life Tuesday morning, February 2, 2010. Born in Pearisburg on December 19, 1964 he was a son of James Brackett and Mary Katherine Evans McGuire of Pearisburg. He attended the Pearisburg Church of God.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; his son Jamie McGuire of Blacksburg; his brothers William Daniel McGuire of Bear Mt., WV and Jimmy Lynwood McGuire of Pearisburg; his sister Ellen Marie Palmer of Pearisburg; his grandmother Rebecca McGuire of Pembroke; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
