Janice Marie Rayman Cecil, 71 of Narrows, VA departed this life January 2, 2021 in the care of Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery to be with her Heavenly Father. Born November 23, 1949, in California, she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Eleanor Souza Rayman.

Janice received her GED, later serving as a billing specialist for AT&T. She practiced her faith at the First Baptist Church in Narrows, VA. She was known as a Granny to many, and truly enjoyed gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Washington Cecil Jr; sons, Darren Cecil, and Trelby Cecil; and sisters, Constance Rayman, and Christina Wright.

Left to cherish her memory are a son, David Cecil; daughter, Kimberly Cecil; brothers, Bill Harr of Angier, NC, and Tom Rayman of Sarasota; grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Logan, Megan, Darren, Ivy, Whitney, and Austin; and two great grandchildren.

There will be a Graveside service held Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at 12:30 PM in Fairview Cemetery with Charlie Henderson officiating. Family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, VA Tuesday, January 5, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
