Janice Ann Snider, 55, of Radford and formerly of Giles County, departed this life Thursday evening January 31, 2008 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center at Radford. Born in Pearisburg on May 28, 1952 she was a daughter of Lorraine Sanders Lamb and the late Ray H. Snider. Janice was employed at RAAP and was baptized into the Big Stony Creek Methodist Church as a young woman.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons Andrew W. Richards and Brad Stump both of Christiansburg; two grandsons Michael Baker and Isaiah Baker both of Christiansburg; her mother Lorraine Sanders Lamb of Rich Creek; three sisters and brothers-in-law Jo and Ted Lafon of Pearisburg, Jessie and Alvis Jamison of Pembroke, Jean (Mrs. Dahl Trenor) Trenor of Pembroke; several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
