Jason Matthew Link, of Narrows, Virginia who was born on September 17, 1982, in Blacksburg, Virginia, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, Virginia.

He was a beloved son, partner, father, nephew, cousin, and friend whose life was marked by love, loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people who mattered most to him. Jason lived with a strong sense of family and carried himself with a quiet strength that was evident to all who knew him.

Jason was employed as a Machine Operator at Alleguard, where he was respected for his work ethic, dependability, and commitment to doing his job well.

Above all else, Jason loved his family. He is survived by his dad, Lloyd Johnson; his life partner, Jessica Bowles; his children, Jaylyn Bowles and Jazmyn Link; his aunt, Mary Davis; and his special cousins, Bruce Davis, Crystal Davis, and Elijah Benton. His children were the light of his life and treasures of his heart, and he made it a priority to be present in their lives and found great joy in simply being with them. His love for them was constant, and his devotion as a father will never be forgotten.

Jason also held close the memory of those who preceded him in death, including his mother, Carolyn Link; his brother, Neal Link; his grandfather, Dorsey Link; and his grandmother, Elizabeth Dowdy. Their influence remained a part of his life, and the bonds of family shaped the man he became.

In his personal time, Jason enjoyed watching Virginia Tech Football, riding motorcycles, and spending as much time as he could with his children. These interests reflected the spirit of a man who appreciated both excitement and togetherness. Whether he was cheering on his team, enjoying the freedom of the open road, or making memories with Jaylyn and Jazmyn, Jason found happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of life.

To keep with Jason’s wishes, there will be no service at this time. The family wish to extend a warm and great deal of gratitude to the great support received from friends during his illness.
