Jean Cecelia Miller, 90, of Athens, WV and formerly of Pembroke, VA departed this life Wednesday evening, May 24, 2017 in the care of Princeton Health and Rehab in Princeton. Born in Woodside, New York on November 14, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Edward and Rose Martin Friend. She was a devoted homemaker and Christian of the Roman Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Francis Miller.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Grace and Donald Harris of Athens; her son Donald Miller of New York State; and her sister Edna Pulise of Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
