Frankie Jean Smith, 74 of Blacksburg, VA departed this life on February 28, 2022 in the care of Lewis-Gale Hospital-Montgomery.  Born June 24, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Mildred Williams.

Jean took pride in keeping all things clean, having a cleaning business for her community.  She was even more proud of her family (perhaps most of all, her grandchildren).  Frankie was a pool shark, who also enjoyed crafts, and gardening.

In addition to her Mother, Jean is preceded in death by her Momma, Mary Virginia Saunders; a son, David Lawhorne; brothers, Powell Williams, and Michael Williams; and sisters, Deborah Elmore, and Rachel Green and a great granddaughter Isabelle Thompson.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her sons, William Lawhorne (Mary), Steven Labiosa, and Christopher Labiosa (Chasity); her grandchildren and great grandchildren Amy Price (Matt) and children Abby, Melanie, Peyton, Sophia and Addison, Joshua Lawhorne and children Johnathan, Lane, and Walker, Daniel Lawhorne (Brittney) and children Kaylee, Carter and Carson, Beth Thompson (James) and children Chloe and Avery, Brian Lawhorne, Jason Lawhorne (Julia) and children Tanner and Jax, Kaytlin Whitlock(Daniel) and children Ethan, Ayden, and Emma, Amanda McCoy (Allen) and children Blanton, Seth, Sophia and Hydee, Jordan Labiosa, Rachel Labiosa, Thomas Labiosa, Starr Labiosa, Skyler Labiosa, Aiden Labiosa and Wyatt Labiosa; a brother, Charles Williams; a sister, Rose Riviezzo; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral service conducted at Kendall Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Don Brown officiating. Funeral services will conclude in the Ross Cemetery in New Castle, VA.
