Jeffery Herbert Dillon, 52, of the Clendennin Community at Narrows, departed this life to be in his heavenly home Monday afternoon, August 11, 2014. Born at the U S Naval Station in Memphis, Tennessee on February 5, 1962 he was a son of Dorothy Hayes Dillon and the late Malon Herbert Dillon of the Clendennin Community. Jeff loved The Lord and was a faithful worshipper at Bethel Chapel near his home. Jeff was also a people person and loved a picnic or pot-luck dinner better than almost anyone and he had garnered many friends.

He leaves to cherish and joy in his memory, his mother "Dottie" Dillon; his brothers and sisters-in-law Danny and Doris Dillon of Washington, DC, Joseph and Brenda Dillon of Bland; his sisters and brother-in-law Kimberly D. and Opel Yuvanavattana of Narrows, Shannon K. Dillon of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Bethel Chapel in Clendennin with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
