Jerry Henry Conley, 62, of Old Wolf Creek Road in Narrows departed this life Friday morning February 16, 2007 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, NC . He was born in Giles County on May 16, 1944 where he had spent his life and was self-employed as a contractor. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Harless Conley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Nona Hughes Conley of Narrows; three sons Jerry Russell Conley and his wife Theresa of Narrows, Ryan Conley and Matthew Conley of Pearisburg; a daughter Morgan Elizabeth Maurer and her husband Casey of Blacksburg; two sisters Bonnie Caudill and husband Alvin of Collinsville, Barbara Miles and husband Jack of Englewood, Ohio, adopted sister Robin Gilbert and husband Kermit of Fieldale; an adopted brother "Tony" Conley of West Milton, Ohio; a granddaughter Brenda Kay Conley of Narrows, a special aunt Lorene Blankenship and a special cousin Beverly Rice.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM in The Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Fairview Cemetery at Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM. While flowers will be appreciated the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Kate B.
