John Henry Hayden, Jr., 67, of Pembroke, passed from this life Saturday October 22, 2005 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center at Radford. Born in Giles Co., VA on November 13, 1937 he was a son of the late John H. Hayden, Sr. and Pearl Chapman Hayden. He was retired from the Giles County Department of Social Services and was a veteran of the U S Army

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Elizabeth Ann Lampkins Hayden of Farrell, PA; two sons Jonathan Waller of Akron, Ohio, William J. Webb of Pulaski, VA; two daughters Leslie Ann Hayden of Pittsburgh, PA and Monica Session of New Castle, PA; three brothers Roger Wagner of Dublin, VA, Lester Hayden of Pulaski, VA, Ira Hayden of Pembroke, VA; nine nieces and nephews and several special cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 29, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, VA. with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
