John Fox Mullins (Foxey), 73, of Salem and formerly of Pearisburg, departed this life Monday morning, March 19, 2012 at Lewis-Gale Salem Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Bluff City on October 22, 1938, he was a son of the late Cecil and Clara Hollins Mullins. He had been employed earlier at Kelly's Oil Co. and in later years in asbestos removal. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Cecil Mullins and his sisters Betty Olinger and Sarah Holdren.

He leaves to cherish his memory his companion of many years Sally Reynolds of Salem; his brother Jimmy Mullins of Stuart; his sisters Jerley Shrader of Haywood, CA, Jeanette Williams of Salem, and Lucy Licea of Christiansburg, and several beloved nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday a 1:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke with burial following in Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem.
