John Wayne Jennelle 81 of Eggleston passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Heritage Hall Rich Creek, Virginia. Mr. Jennelle was born on December 4, 1938 to the late Robert Early Jennelle and Dolly Florence DeHart. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Jennelle and a sister, Bebe McCroskey.

Mr. Jennelle was a 1956 Graduate of Eggleston High School and a member of the Castle Rock Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a greeter.

Mr. Jennelle is survived by his wife Mary Jennelle his Step-Sons, Michael King and wife Karen of Fairlawn, Patrick King of Christiansburg, Dennis King of Seattle WA. And Stephen King of Christiansburg. He is also survived by his 6 step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his church family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Birchlawn Burial Park Mausoleum with Pastors Gary Poff and Eddie Kendall Officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family has ask to make donations to the Castle Rock Baptist Church. There will be a guestbook available online by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. Kendall Funeral Home will be serving the Jennelle family.
