Joyce Michelle Carbaugh (Shelly), 46, of Link Circle, Newport, departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home. Born in Pearisburg on September 19, 1969, she was a daughter of Kay Meadows Carbaugh and the late Robert C. (Bobby) Carbaugh. She was a graduate of Giles High School.

She is survived by her mother Kay Meadows Carbaugh of Montgomery County; her son Damien Sawyers of Montgomery Co.; her daughter Latesha Carbaugh of Pembroke; her brothers Robert (Jay) Carbaugh Jr. of Pearisburg, Nathan Robertson of Montgomery Co.; her sisters Robin Rice of Pembroke, Debbie Price of Montgomery Co., Connie Clark of Shawsvillle; her grandchildren Jaden Smith and Rayleigh Carbaugh.
