Juanita Rebecca Higgs, 81, of Pearisburg departed this life Sunday Morning, May 24, 2020 to enter her Heavenly Home in the care of Lewis Gale Medical Center. Born January 1, 1939 in Giles County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Irene Davis Fletcher. Juanita was a faithful member of Bethel Chapel in Clendennin.

Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Higgs; her parents; and a sister, Shirley Conley.

Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Franklin Fletcher of Floyd, VA; sisters, Linda Farley of Narrows, VA, and Darlene Fisher (Shady) of Pearisburg, VA, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 09:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A graveside service will be held at Fletchers Cemetery in Narrows at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.
