Juanita Trent Morris, 85, formerly of Ripplemead, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Richfield Retirement Community, where she had been a resident for the past eight years, first in independent living and the last five years in Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer, in 1988. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Midge Morris, Bedford; one daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Gary Hoback, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Shannon Lewey and his wife Rebecca and Megan Young and her husband Todd; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Dylan Lewey. She is also survived by three sisters and nine brothers. Arrangements are being made by Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, Virginia. The Rev Shahn Wilburn will hold a graveside service at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
