Judy Lucas Lindsey, 60, of Pembroke and formerly of Roanoke departed this life Wednesday morning March 5, 2008 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. Born at Kerns in Giles County on February 24, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Roscoe H. and Thelma Martin Lucas. Judy had been employed as a Burger King manager in Roanoke and was a 1966 graduate of Giles High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Melissa Dawn Lucas, a son Christopher Lucas, and a brother Clyde H. Lucas.

She leaves to cherish and love her memory a son and daughter-in-law Charles and Tonya Tickle Lucas of Pembroke; a granddaughter Breaunna Rene Lucas of Pembroke; her sisters Reida L. Moye and Danny of Pearisburg, Betty L. Harvey and Mike of Newport, Becky L. Proco and Darrell of Christiansburg, and Darlene Lucas of Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008 in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Angels Rest Memory Gardens in Narrows.
