Julie Thelma Hilton, 40, of Interior Lane, Ripplemead, departed this life Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. She was born in Pearisburg on January 25, 1972 and had been employed in Food Service at Virginia Tech and Giles High School. She was a veteran of the U S Army, and was preceded in death by her mother Mary Bower Wendell.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Richard Allen Hilton; her father James Wendell of Bay Town, Texas, and a large group of devoted friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, September 10, 2012 in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
