Keith Douglas Saunders (Butch), 60, of Glen Lyn died Thursday afternoon, November 16, 2006 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Keith was born at Bane in Giles County on June 29, 1946 to Riley and Ruby Keffer Saunders. He was a retired steel mill worker. He was preceded in death by a sister Louise S. Snider.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved companion and devoted caregiver Donna Snowberger; two sons Keith Saunders of Parkersburg, WV and John Baker of Cleveland, OH; two daughters Teresa Saunders of West Columbia, WV, Amy Whitt of Glen Lyn; a brother William (Billy) Saunders of Narrows; a sister Elizabeth S. Lucas of Narrows; a sister-in-law Myrtle Saunders of Pearisburg; seven grandchildren; a special niece Ginger Smith of Roanoke.

Funeral services were conducted Monday November 20, 2006 in the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke. Burial was in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
