Krista Ann Wint, born on November 20, 1960, in Germany, passed away on May 21, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a dedicated Hotel Manager for Holiday Inn, where her commitment and professionalism were deeply valued by colleagues and guests alike.
Krista held an Associate's Degree and was known not only for her career achievements but also for her warmth and kindness. She had a true passion for life, expressed through her love of flowers, fishing, puzzles, singing, and a heartfelt dedication to helping anyone in need. Her vibrant spirit and generous nature touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her significant other, Frederick Wint; her brother George Brumfield and his wife Jeanie; her sister Pamela Landrum; her sister-in-law Tamberly Pardee; and her mother and father-in-law, Kathy and Roger Riddle. In addition, she is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on May 29, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kendall Funeral Home, located at 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke, Virginia with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Wint family.
