Linda Louise Myers, 59, of Linden St. in Ripplemead departed this life at her home Wednesday morning March 8, 2006. Born in Giles County on November 17, 1946 she was a daughter of the late John Arnett and Litty Louise Rogers Hamblin. Linda was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church, was a former employee of Celanese, and a member of Giles High School graduating class of 1965. She was preceded in death by her brothers Larry L. Hamblin and Jackie Wayne Hamblin.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband James Roy "Jim" Myers; three sons Timothy Wayne Myers of Pembroke, Michael Myers of Howell, Michigan, and John Todd Myers and his wife Cheryl of Arlington, Texas; a granddaughter Ashley Myers and two step-grandchildren Brandon and Tiffany Myers; a brother and sister-in-law Donald and Carolyn Hamblin of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
