LINDA SUE DUNIGAN RHODES, 64, of Pearisburg, departed this life Monday, March 20, 2017 at her residence. Born in Pearisburg on March 11, 1953 she was a daughter of the late Clifford Lyle and Bertha Stowers Dunigan. She was a 1971 graduate of Giles High School, a graduate of Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, and had been employed as a bookkeeper. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Jean Dunigan Snider, her brother William C "Butch" Dunigan and her husband Roger Rhodes.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Donnie Dwayne Rhodes of Pearisburg; her granddaughter Gracelyn Annabelle Rhodes; her neice Regina Hammons Harless and her husband Mark of Pearisburg; her nephew Anthony Blake Hammons; her good friends Wilma Dowdy, Mary Carter, and Nate Ribbe and many more really good friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7:30 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating.
