Linda May Kast Sexton, 79 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life February 6, 2022 in her home and in the loving care of her family.  Born April 12, 1942, in Giles County, Virginia she was a daughter of the late Odie and Ada Hilton Kast.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Lawson, Bernice Kast, Elizabeth Teass, Dorene Merrix, Mary Collins, and Ella Rakes; and a brother, Odie Kast.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her husband, Johnny Sexton; son, Edwin Meredith (Teresa) of Pembroke, VA; brother "Bud" Kast (Lena); grandson, Tyler Meredith; step-grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin Elliott, Stacey and Chris Taylor, Ashley and Brandon Hilton, and William Wilson; a great grandson, Connor Meredith; 4 step-grandsons, 2 step-granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kendall Funeral Home. There will be a Memorial Service held after to celebrate the life of Linda on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.  A guestbook is available to send a condolence or share a story by visiting www.kendalfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Sexton family.
