Linda Deanne Whittaker, 64, of Staffordsville, departed this life Sunday, May 06, 2012 at New River Valley Medical Center. Born in Princeton, West Virginia on June 28, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Emmet Brown and Olma Elizabeth Thompson Brown. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Ray Whittaker and two sisters; Pamela Rottenbury, and Mildred Rottenbury.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. Her sons and daughters -in-laws; Donald "Bubby" and April Blankenship of Staffordsville, Joe and Charlotte Blankenship of Elgood, WV, Dean and Michelle Blankenship of Raeford, NC, David and Geri Blankenship of Elgood, WV, Dwight and Terrina Blankenship of Wayne, WV, her daughters and sons-in-laws; Melinda and Paul Gusler of Wilburn Valley, Vickie and Brian Wilson of Staffordsville, her grandchildren; Devin and Dawn Blankenship, Terri Wright, Pamela Blankenship, Sabrina Hodge, Brooke and Josh Blankenship, D.J. and Justen Blankenship, Dwight II, Katie, Tristan, and Shane Blankenship, William and Chrissy Gusler, Chasity and B.J. Wilson, and Nancy Sowers. Her great-grandchildren; Caleb, Nicholas, Shawnta, Eric, Daralynn, Chanler, Zoey, and Melony. Her brothers and sisters; Alvin "Butch" Brown, Westey Brown, Micheal Brown, and two sisters Lori Sowers, and Kathy Sue Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday evening, May 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke.
