Lisa Dawn Hughes, 47, of Pembroke, departed this life Monday afternoon, March 4, 2019 at her home after battling cancer. Born in Pearisburg on March 2, 1972, she was a daughter of Georgia Cumbee Hughes of Pembroke and the late Berman Hughes. Lisa had been employed as a store manager for Goodwill Industries. She was a 1990 graduate of Giles High School.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Larry G Martin; her daughter and her boyfriend Natasha Renee (NanNan) Martin and Cody Reed of Rich Creek; her granddaughter Raelyn Reed; and her brother Arnie Hughes of Pembroke.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. Burial will follow in the Fillinger Cemetery in Pembroke.
