Lois Garrett Turner, 93, of Montgomery St., Pearisburg, VA departed this life Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the care of Heritage Hall in Rich Creek. Born in Rockbridge County, VA on October 25, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Garmon Lee and Velma Carter Garrett. She attended Bethel Chapel in Clendennin and for many years was the night registration clerk at Hapiday Motor Lodge in Pearisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis Turner, her son Ronald Turner, and her brothers Harold and Jimmy Garrett.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Roy Lee Garrett of Glasgow; her neice and her husband Betty and Bob Tipton of Glasgow; her nephew and his wife Steve and Maria Garrett of Lexington; several neices and nephews in Florida.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in The Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens in Lexington.
