Louise Elizabeth Hilton, 85, of Newport, departed this life Tuesday morning, October 27, 2009 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg. Born in Dorchester, MA on July 20, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Tagen Williams. She was a veteran of the U S Army (WAC) in WW II, had been employed as a retail clerk in a pharmacy and helped her late husband, Paul S. Hilton, in his auction business.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Patricia H. and Lance Hutton of New Castle, VA; her granddaughter Stephanie Smith of Roanoke; her grandchildren Bree-ann Guthrie, Brittney Mathis and Nevah Hughes; her brother Robert Williams of Taunton, MA, and her sister-in-law Mona Hilton of Ripplemead, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at the Level Green Church Cemetery in Craig County.
