MACKIE THOMAS HUNGATE, 58, of Sunny Ridge Road, Pearisburg, departed this life Friday morning, May 13, 2016, at Heritage Hall Rich Creek. Born in Radford on March 11, 1958, he was a son of the late Garnett Simpkins and Mary Martha Hungate. He had employed at Pulaski Furniture in Pulaski.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Christine Burton; his step-daughter Christy Frame and her husband Joe of White Gate Community; his step-son Bucky Burton and his wife Leaetta of Burton Community; his brother Terry Wayne Simpkins of the home; his step-grandchildren Christopher Anderson, Katlyn Burton, Mariah Hughes and Karina Hughes.
