Malcolm Tommy Spaulding, 73 of Christiansburg, Virginia departed this life February 23, 2025 in the care of Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.  He was welcomed into this world by his late parents on May 27, 1951.

Professionally, Malcolm worked for the City of Christiansburg.  He enjoyed tinkering with anything he could get his hands on.  Finally, he enjoyed playing and making memories with his dogs.

In addition to his parents, Malcolm is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Long Spaulding; and brothers, Shorty Spaulding and Norman "Buster" Spaulding.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his children, Joseph Spaulding (Lorraine), Angela Long (Timothy), and Miranda Spaulding; and grandchildren, Evan, Kadence, and McKenna Spaulding.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Virginia.  A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Spaulding family.
