Margaret A. Richardson, 77, of Narrows, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Richardson was born in Giles County on August 13, 1944 to the late Everette and Annie Nelson Burton. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ward Richardson, her son, Jerry Richardson and her sister, Olivia Stowers.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughter, Susan Elyard and husband, Scott of Harrisonburg, her grandchildren, Britney Clark, Jeremy Lawson, Andrea Lawson, Brandon Richardson, Matthew Elyard, Bradley Richardson and Kailee Elyard, great-grandchildren, Everly Herring, Marleigh Bell and Liam Bell. She is also survived by her siblings, Phyllis Hughes, Richard Burton, Inez Lester, Chuck Burton and Wilma Stafford.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the French – Turner Cemetery in Narrows with Pastor Ward Harris officiating. A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com . Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke will be serving the Richardson family.
