Margaret Letisha "Peggy" Roach, 74, of Pearisburg, departed this life Friday morning, August 27, 2010 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV. Born in Narrows on May 20, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Powhatan and Isabelle Perkins Martin. Peggy was employed as a Nursing Assistant at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek for forty-five years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New River Ward in Pembroke. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Cora Isabelle "Betty" Wilburn.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Roy Roach of Pearisburg, and Jerry Ray Roach and his wife Tammy D. Roach of Pearisburg; her daughters Patricia Roach of Pearisburg and Dorothea R. Meredith and her husband Edwin Meredith of Pembroke, her sister JoAnn Jessee of Narrows; her seven grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New River Ward, in Pembroke with Bishop Gary Scott Presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the church Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is serving the Roach Family.
