Mark William Deitz, 58, of Narrows, VA, departed this life Tuesday morning, February 12, 2019 at his home. Born in Albany, NY on June 2, 1960, he was a son of the late Ivan Alfred and Roseanne Nancy Martin Deitz. He was a veteran of the US Navy (SEALS) and had been employed as a caregiver.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane Shapiro Deitz; his son and daughter-in-law T J Lavigne and Annie Seguin of Renessaer, NY; his daughter Ashley Lavigne of NY; his brothers Al Deitz of Pottsdam, NY, Ivan Deitz of Richmond, VA and Chris Deitz of Delmar, NY; his sisters Dolores Andres and husband Jerry of Pottsdam, NY, and Shelly Deitz of NY; and his granddaughter Sophie Marie Lavigne.
