Marlene Duncan Peters Henderson of Pearisburg, VA passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at the age of 90.

A graduate of Newport High School and Radford College, she was a dedicated educator in the Giles County School System.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Elizabeth Duncan; her husband, Bill Henderson; son-in-law, Bill Tickle; and grandson, Eddie Blankenship.

Surviving are her children, Vicki Tickle, Billy Peters, and Beth (Herk) Sparks; grandchildren, Philip Tickle (Heather), Brandon Sparks, Amber Blankenship, Rachel Cooper (Michael), and Ryan Peters; great-grandchildren, Lilli, Will, and Mason Tickle, and Presley and Addie Cooper; and her spiritual family of Jehovah's Witnesses.
