Martha Elizabeth Anderson, 35, of Airport Road in Blacksburg died Saturday March 5, 2005 at her home. Born in Lewisburg, WV on January 23, 1970 she was a daughter of Gladys Thornhill Anderson of Blacksburg and the late James W. Anderson. She had been employed with the bakery at VPI&SU. She was preceded in death by a brother James Earl Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother; a brother Raleigh Marshall Anderson of Blacksburg and a sister and brother-in-law Anna Faye and Roger Dowdy of Pearisburg; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with Pastor Jerry Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson-Mt.View Cemetery on Guinea Mountain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
