Mary Katherine Williams, 87, of Pearisburg died Wednesday morning January 11, 2006 at her home. Born in Giles County on October 12, 1918 she was a daughter of the late Victor H. and Lena Bowles Wilburn. She was a beloved homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Warner W. "Susie" Williams, her parents, and a brother Charles Wilburn.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son and daughter-in-law Jimmie and Dora C. Williams of Pearisburg; a grandson and his wife Jeff and Karen Williams of Pearisburg; three grandsons Zachary, David, and Josh Williams; a brother Roy Wilburn of Ripplemead; a sister Helen Gautier of Columbus, Ohio and a special niece Rebecca Wilburn of Lorton, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
