Mary Douglas McCroskey, 87, of Monroe St., Pearisburg, departed this life Thursday morning, October 10, 2013 at Giles Community Hospital after a long illness. Born in Pearisburg on August 23, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Nannie Warden Musselman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Herman J. McCroskey.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Rhonda Lawson McCroskey and her granddaughter Camry McCroskey of Narrows.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 am in East Side Cemetery at Pearisburg. The family is being served by the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
