Michael Forrest King, Sr, 64 of Pembroke, VA departed this life August 5, 2021 at his home in the care of Carilion Hospice Services of the New River Valley and his loving family.  Born in Maine on July 3, 1957, he was a son of the late Earl and Betty Huff King.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shari Olinger; and girlfriend, Patricia Robertson.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are a son, Michael King Jr of Riner; a daughter, Stacy (Michael) Pennington; brother, Craig King of Roanoke; sisters, Earline Nunn of Roanoke; Annette Keith of Texas; Lori Whitlock of Maryland, and Wendy (Bob) Flack of Pembroke; grandchildren, Carlee King, Emily King, Erin King, Eli Tawney, Gage Tawney, and Micah Tawney; special nieces, April Muncy Dowdy, and Linda Muncy Hale; and many more nieces and nephews.
