Michael Charles Polek, 61, of Cattle Creek Path, Elliston, VA departed this life Friday morning, August 14, 2015 at his home. Born in Hartford, CT on November 27, 1953, he was a son of the late Frank and Mabel Pelletier Polek. Mike was a 15 yr. veteran of the U S Navy, had worked as a computer tech for Montgomery County, and at Salem Frame in Salem, VA.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted life partner for the last 24 yrs "Donnie" Donald Lee Williams of the home, his beloved dogs Wuf Wuf and Lucky, his cats Ellie, Bo, Charlie and Sidal; his sisters Marilyn Callahan and her husband Pat of Bull Shoals, AR and Sue Polek and her spouse Pam of Florida; his Aunt Bea of Maine; his nephew David; his nieces Genevieve and Diane; his good friends Bobby Jones, Tom Manning, and Frankie Whittaker; and a special thanks to his friend Charles Stump.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in the Strother Williams Cemetery at Boyds Chapel near Pembroke.
