Mildred Mary Albert, 74, of Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday April 4, 2007 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek after a long illness. Born in Pulaski County on September 7, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Jason and Hattie Tabor Trail. She was preceded in death by three brothers Tom, Arland, and Shorty and four sisters Shirley, Margaret, Elizabeth, and Lucille.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Richard George Albert; four sons George Albert (Cheryl) of Rich Creek, Robert Lee Albert of Maybrook, Brian Albert of Maybrook, David Albert (Louann) of Dublin; four daughters Mary Ann Montgomery (Haven) of Dublin, Nancy Rice (Steve) of Pembroke, Libby Hale (Sherman) of Blacksburg, Judy Bane (Tim) of Pearisburg; one sister Janie Skaggs of Radford ; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildrren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 PM in The Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
