Nola Miller Butler, 92, of Sam Robinson Apartments in Pembroke departed this life Wednesday morning, September 12, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Pembroke on January 21, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Ruby Hilton Williams. Nola was a beloved homemaker and Christian woman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luther Butler, her brothers Arnold Williams and David Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister and brother-in-law Ella Sue and Jack Perkins of Pearisburg; her brothers and sister-in-law John Lewis and Edith Williams of Pembroke and Buddy Joe Williams of Pembroke.

The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, Friday morning from 9 until 11 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am in the chapel.
